What it does
Learners practise with timed mock exams, short quizzes by practice area, flashcards, spoken roleplay with an AI-played resident or family member, graded documentation practice, and an AI tutor. Each province has its own question bank, written to that province's role title and rules. Start with free Alberta practice questions or pick your province from the list at the foot of this page.
Colleges and employers use the same product to follow a cohort's progress. That side is described on the page for colleges.
What it is not
- It is not a training program. It does not replace an approved course.
- It is not a regulator or an exam administrator. It cannot register, certify or book anyone, and it has no access to real exam questions.
- It is not clinical advice. At work, follow the care plan, your employer's policy and the regulated professional who supervises you.
How the questions are written and checked
Questions are drafted with AI assistance and then checked before a learner sees them.
- Format check. Every question must have four options and one marked answer before it can be saved.
- Blind check. A second AI model answers the question without seeing the marked answer. If it does not reach the same answer, the question is held back.
- Reading by a person. The question banks for the provinces added in 2026 were read by a person before they went live.
- Reports from learners. Every review screen has a link to report a question. Each report is recorded against the question, and a question reported by two learners is taken out of practice until it has been reviewed.
Mistakes can still get through. If you find one, report it from the question or write to hello@careaideprep.com.
Price
It is free to start and no card is needed. After the trial, a personal subscription is CA$99 a month plus your province's sales tax. Students whose college or employer pays are never charged personally. The full terms are on the Terms page.
